Most women subscribe to the thinking that all men flirt, but how sure are you that they are flirting with you in the first place? If you are one of those gifted with a “flirting discernment”, you would automatically know that a man is flirting with you. For some, it is difficult to figure it out at once. An obvious flirt sign is when a man looks at you and glances all over. When you catch his eye, he will give you that playful smile on his lips. If you are in a crowded place, of course you expect many people to be in your space. However, if you are in a more relaxed place like a coffee shop or in line at a grocery store and you notice this guy trying to get too close to you, he is flirting with you and likes you. Working environments are slightly different and can be a minefield for sexual harassment cases. The easiest thing to do if you suspect a work colleague of flirting with you is to approach her out of office hours, this way you are on neutral ground. An office romance may start with internal emails which start off work related and get a little more personal (first name or asking how you are). Again, if you find yourself in this situation, take it out of the office even if it’s just going for your lunch break at the same time.
