In this way, he let her know that he was attracted to her literary sense, that he was on the same wavelength as her, and he had more information to share for a sexy lady if she chose to further pursue the issue, or him. He didn’t make her feel overpowered or cornered. He didn’t come off like a book snob. He simultaneously expressed his attraction, and expressed that he was a man worthy of her time.

There are a couple of other points in this flirting for guys scenario to look at. One is that he respected her boundaries. He didn’t make himself annoying by hanging around. Notice that in this scenario, he put his pitch out there, and then he walked away. Guys, it’s so important to know when to approach, and when to retreat. There are so many things in life that are all about timing. He knew and trusted that if things were meant to be between them, he’d see her again. But he wasn’t going to try to make it all happen in one conversation. Besides that, she was there to read. He was considerate enough to leave her to her reading.

Flirting For Guys: Human Nature

The second extra point is a simple lesson in human nature. Leave a person wanting. It’s a weird part of human nature, but if people feel that something is too available, they don’t want it. The more desirable something is, the more they’ll crave it. When you’re flirting with a woman, the point is to make her crave you. I promise you that if you’re too available, you’ll get put in the “friend zone”, where you’ll hang out with frustration forevermore. If you want to attract her, lay the bait, and leave.
